Name First United Methodist Church of Golden
Details Founded on July 17, 1859 with Rev. Jacob Adriance as first presiding minister. Originally worshipped at Ford Bros. tent at northwest corner of today's 12th and Ford from 1859-1860. Also worshipped at Loveland Building of today's 1107 Washington Avenue and at Burgess Block (later Burgess House) at 1015 Ford Street. First permanent home at 1322 Washington Avenue used from 1868-1960s. Second permanent home at 1500 Ford Street used from 1960s to today.
