The Transcript building is visible behind the decorated vehicle along with a number of other unidentified businesses. The street and float are decorated with American flags.

The Golden Globe, "a weekly newspaper devoted to the interests of Golden, Jefferson County and Colorado." O. W. Garrison editor and publisher. Front cover contains images of a globe with a designation for the city of Golden, the newspaper's building, scenic view of Golden from North Table Mountain, and important buildings in the town. Inside contains information about notable businesses and persons in Golden. Also includes a list of businesses and weather from 1870 - 1893.
