Title Reynold's homestead
Description Black and white photograph of the main residence and out buildings on the Reynolds homestead in Golden Gate Canyon. The woman seated in the shadows on the front porch is likely Annie Reynolds (Harry). Two unidentified woman are standing in front of the cabin and a man is sitting on the porch steps. The Reynold's family operated a 240 acre ranch next door to the Pearce family. Adam and Annie Reynolds lived with Annie's three daughters from her first marriage: Henrietta, Mary, and Elizabeth. Thomas H. Pearce Sr. married Henrietta Harry in 1900. Later, in 1912, the Pearces purchased the entire,1180-acre ranch from his mother-in-law's estate for $5,000 and converted the cabin to a garage and storage area. This cabin is moved to Clear Creek History Park in Golden, CO in 1994.
