Title George Drazich, Lieutenant
Date 1960
Description Black and white photograph of Lieutenant George Drazich in the uniform of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department under the leadership of Arthur Wermuth. The uniform depicts subtle changes enacted by Wermuth since he took office, such as the creation of the new seven pointed star that is currently used by Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies, and keeping the bolo tie that was introduced to the Department in 1949 by Sheriff Carl Enlow. This photograph taken after Drazich was promoted to the "keeper of the keys" in 1960 and after his involvement in the kidnapping and murder of Adolph Coors III.
