|Description||Black and white slide of the Boston Company Building in Golden, CO. The two-story building has a covered front porch with upper balcony, and a picket fence surrounding the yard. Unidentified people are standing on the upper and lower porches. The building was located on the corner of Washington Avenue and 10th Streets. Originally erected by the Boston Company in 1859, it housed a general store and newspaper (on second floor) along with sleeping accommodations. Later occupied by John Nichols Sr. and family. It was torn down when Parfet Park was established on the site in 1927.|
