|Title||Ryland and Vogel Wedding|
|Date||November, 24, 1943|
Black and white formal wedding portrait of Elsie M. Vogel and Charles S. Ryland. The couple was married on November 24, 1943 in Berkeley, CA.
Elsie Ryland made the following comments about this photo in 1991: Charles left his position at the Coors Porcelain Co. to enlist in the Navy during WWII. He had finished a term aboard the Cruiser "Santa Fe" in the Adak region and was to resume duty at the small landing craft station at Albany, CA (race track). Elsie left her position at the Coors lab and friends and relatives took the train for the wedding. Charles later resumed his position at the Coors Porcelain Co. in chemical porcelain sales.
