The roads are not paved, but electrical lines are visible, dating the photograph to about late 1880s/ early 1890s. Handwritten caption in bottom margin says "Golden, Colorado from Clear Creek, looking north, Cemetery Hill in the background". Photograph is glued to the card.
Reverse has an image of a black cat laying on wood.
