Description Black and white photograph of different coal mines in Golden. The White Ash Coal Mine is located in the foreground with two buildings and a smoke stack. There is an unidentified man sitting outside the White Ash Coal Mine building in the foreground. Located on the left side of the photograph is the smoke stack that was apart of the Rocky Mountain Fire Brick Company. Directly behind the smoke stack is the New Loveland Coal Mine with the tailings and some buildings that were apart of the Black Diamond Coal Mine. Directly behind this coal mine, in the far background of the photograph, is the North, Little, or New White Ash Coal Mine. A portion of Golden is visible on the right side of the photograph.
