Description Black and white photograph of investigators from the Jefferson County, Colorado
Sheriff's Department and District Attorney's Office examining the spot where murder victim William Scott Wright was buried after his murder on the previous June 15, 1959. Suspect Harold David Wooley is depicted in the center, wearing a white shirt, pointing down at the exact place he buried Wright under a pile of rocks. Also depicted in the photograph is Deputy Coroner Carl Cline (in suit), Investigator Daly Ryder standing behind Wooley and wearing a white shirt, Captain Harold E. Bray in sports coat and tie, and District Attorney Barney O'Kane in dark suit pointing toward the rocks. Standing just above this group is Investigator Nels Coy, and standing in dark suit on the highway with arms folded is Investigator William Flint. The other three bystanders on the highway are unidentified.
