Title "In Honor of Golden Citizens Serving Our Country" mural
Description Black and white photograph of the painted mural once located on the south side of the Loveland Building in Golden, CO. The mural was titled "Honoring of Golden Citizens Serving Our Country" and was sponsored by the Golden Chamber of Commerce. The mural was painted sometime in the early 1940s during the early years of WWII and served as a well-known landmark until about 1949, when it was painted over. Gold stars painted after a name signified that the individual died in the line of duty.
