Description Team photograph of the Coors Brewers, an Adolph Coors Brewery sponsored team apart of the Victory League, after they won the Colorado State Semi-Pro Championship in 1940. All members of the team are wearing the Coors team uniform. The championship trophy is located in the middle of the front row. The team is identified on the back as follows, left to right: Back row Johnny Smith, Roy Byers, Cecil Scheffel, Bob Eakle, George Anderson, Gene Ater, Al Kavanaugh, George Hall, Dick Hotton, Sticks Stonich. Front row: Jim Garramone (manager), Lou Pastore, Bat Boy: Schmidt, Leonard Hawkins, Art Unger, Bruno Konopka, Harry Hallman. Photograph taken in Pueblo, Colorado. Bruno Konopka played Major League Baseball for the Philadelphia Athletics (Connie Mack) in 1942, 1943, and 1946.
