Description Black and white photograph of Cheney's Chicago Saloon & Billiard Hall (left) and the first W. A. H. Loveland Building (right, also known as the Eldridge Building). Both were located on Washington Avenue in Golden, CO. A sign for Golden City Fire Brick can be seen on the right end of the saloon building. The first floor of the Loveland Building with boarded windows was used as the jail from about 1862-1870. Castle Rock is in the background.
