Description Black and white photograph of the North School baseball team consisting of seventh and eighth graders. The team has eleven members and one "mascot", he has a pile of gloves, balls, and bats in his lap. The members are identified as: left to right, back row: William Golightly, John Walker, Harold Simmons, Wilbur Shephard, George Allen, and Oscar Johnson; Front row: Eddie Hoffmaster, Carl Anderson, Ernie VanWinkle, Raymond Williams, George Goldberg, and mascot Cliff Buzzard. Written on the note card: Baseball team of North School, 7th and 8th grades. "No uniforms," said John Walker. "If you wanted to play ball you brought your glove and your ball."
