Two "Certificate of Publication" documents affirming that George West is the publisher of the weekly Colorado Transcript. Both documents are signed by George West, with one dated Oct. 3, 1877 and the other dated Oct. 24, 1877. Also attached to these two documents is a handwritten legal document written and signed by J. W. Belcher, Sheriff, Jefferson County, and a receipt for expenses signed by Alex. D. Jameson, also dated 1877. In the corner of is a clipping relating to a legal dispute between Goldenites Stephen Eldred and Hiram F. Ford. |
