An application for a permit from Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. of Denver to the City of Golden for permission to mount a wall sign on the exterior east wall of the E. E. Stewart building. The one page application is typed in blue ink on Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company letterhead and is dated June 29, 1961. It describes the intended location of the sign as well as its construction and dimensions. At the bottom of the page is taped a 3" x 4" black and white photograph of the east wall of the E. E. Stewart building, located at the corner of 10th Street and Washington Ave. in Golden. The photo shows a hand-drawn represention of the proposed sign location on the wall. In the foreground of the photo is a Frontier gas sign, with a partial view of the gas pumps on the station lot. |
