Report: A Brief Outline of Red Cross Work in Golden, Colo. 1917 to 1919. Prepared by May Stanley Fleck, Chairman Jefferson County Chapter History Committee, Irene M.Goetze, Harley D. West, R. Broad, Jr. Two typed pages contain a narrative regarding the following topics: *the establishment of the Golden Chapter of the Red Cross in March 1917 by May Stanley Fleck, and their founding officers; *the transition of the Golden Branch becoming the Jefferson County Chapter, which subsequently organized branches in towns in the Golden region; *the role of the Red Cross in Golden during the influenza epidemic of 1918-1919; *and the work of the Home Service Section during WWI.
