Collection of papers regarding Lieutenant H. V. Crawford's active military service from June 25, 1918 to December 26, 1918. Collection contains -A letter sent from the War Department in Washington D.C. to Crawford dated June 25, 2918. Tri-folded letter gives orders for Crawford to report to The State Agricultural College in Fort Collins, Colorado. -Typed list of dentists in the Dental Reserve Corps, rank, and place of assigned duty. -Associated envelope for War Department orders and listed orders for other dentists. Collection also contains two Western Union Telegrams of the same message from the War Department to Crawford. -Telegram sent December 26, 1918 relieving Crawford of duty at Colorado State Agricultural College and ordering him to report to Fort Riley, Kansas for discharge. -Identical telegram, but with note for travel and sleeping accommodations for travel to Kansas. |
