Program for Dedication Exercises for Fairmount Elementary School dated April 14, 1961. White heavy paper with black print, staplebound at spine. Information in the program indicates that the site was purchased on August 7, 1956, that students first occupied the building on Febuary 20, 1961, and the Dedication and Open House were held April 14, 1961. The building was measured at 23,908 square feet and was built at a cost of $293,015 ($12.26 per square foot.) Mr. Hal Shelton, acting in his role as 1st Vice President, Board of Education, was listed in the program, as was an address presented by The Honorable John C. Vivian.
