Part of a collection of Golden History Museum institutional history documentation. These documents date from the inception of the Jefferson County Museum in 1938, a forerunner of today's GHM. Items in this folder include correspondence between Jefferson County Museum supervisor Ada Newton, and artifact donors and lenders, including: *A thank you letter from museum supervisor to Mr. Homer Pearson *A letter from Mrs. Lee Larison letting the museum supervisor know that an artifact attributed to her family was not, in fact, donated or loaned by her *A letter to Mr. William M. Sarell from museum supervisor regarding the status of a baby buggy artifact (see catalog recrod #0713); at bottom of letter is a note in response to inquiry written by Mr. Sarell *A letter from Earnest Ramstetter to the museum regarding the status of a grinding stone, loaned indefinitely to the museum; the letter is handwritten on Bonvue Ranch letterhead |
