Report, proposal titled "The Restoration of the Guy Hill Elementary School by the Student of Mitchell School 1876-1976." Title page reads "Colorado Centennial Celebration Project: The Restoration of the Guy Hill Elementary School by the Students of Mitchell School and the People of Golden." The project included an advisory board, a Project Board of Directors, and Special Committees which included student participants. The proposal includes messages from students as to the importance of the project, funding for the project, and moving of the building from Golden Gate Canyon to Golden. There is also an outline for proposed restoration activies including power requirements, foundations and other structural considerations, and architectural details. The report also has elevations of the building drawn by one of the students. Green paper cover, staplebound at spine, pages not numbered. On the cover in pencil is handwritten at top "Mrs. Katona." |
