These folders contain documents that were taken from the 1968 Time Capsule, which was removed from the ground in front of City Hall on Oct. 29, 2018. It was commemorated and shared with the public at a November 11, 2018 event called the WW1 Armistice Centennial Time Capsule Opening and 2068 Capsule Dedication. Many of the items were on exhibit at the Museum. Fonds - folder containing documents and booklets relating to the Golden Symphony Orchestra and The Golden Thespians, including: * A program for the Summer Festival Orchestra, T. Gordon Parks, Director, Arvada West High School, Wednesday, July 31, 1968 *Two brochures for the 16th Season of the Golden Symphony Orchestra, conductor T. Gordon Parks *A small booklet titled "The Golden Thespians Yearbook 1968-1969" listing members of the organization, their addresses and phone numbers * A program for the Golden Symphony Orchestra, 1967-1968, for a performance of Carmen, May 12, 1968 *A program for the Golden Symphony Youth Orchestra presenting a concert on March 24, 1968 *A program for a production of the comedy "Mary, Mary" presented by the Golden Thespians, April 25, 26, 27, 1968 |
