In the 1970s, G.H. Stuart lived at 608 Cheyenne St. in Golden. He came to Golden in 1942. G.H. Stuart and wife Oeda Eslick Stuart are interred at Golden Cemetery. The G.H. Stuart Co. was located at 1051 Ford St., across from the Safeway parking lot. When the G.H. Stuart Co. closed in 1981, the stock was bought out by Golden Trading Post, which was located at 15969 Old Golden Road. |
