This is a photo of Golden High School Class of 1927, taken at their 50th reunion on June 5, 1977. Front row from right to left are: Bill Wagenbach, Marguerite Little Duvall, Barbara Herr Frederick, Mathematics Teacher Todd O. Downing, Margaret Duvall Barker, and Helen Sweeney. Standing right to left are: Frank Coolbaugh, Albert Wooldridge, Hazel Claar Archer, Ruth Watson Hail, Kenneth Rudd, Babe Nakervis Redmon, Margery Todd Smith, Donald Rice, and Kenneth Green. According to a newspaper clipping regarding the Class of 1927's 50th reunion, members of the Class of 1927 who had passed away by that time include: Velma Baker, Russell Chambers, Clarence Franklin, Wenonah Hastings, Isabelle Pomeroy Hoopes, Alice Kistler, Mona Kriser, Ardelle Meyer, Marjorie Plummer, Dorothy Read, Caroline Welch and Ern Van Winkle. Classmates that didn't attend the event included Agnes Hewins Jenner, William M. Elliott, Alex Naylor, and Justin C. Swatzlander. |
