Description |
Black and white digital photograph of the interior of Foss Drug in Golden. In the immediate right front is the tobacco counter followed by a cash register, soda fountain and counter with 13 stools. In the back right are six booths. Hanging on the center of the back wall is an elk mount which was shot by Heinie Foss's father (either Henry Foss or Joseph O'Byrne). All along the left side and on islands in the center of the store are merchandise including stationary, toiletries, and foodstuffs and alcohol. Holiday streamers are hung across the ceiling. Written on the back of the photograph: Store has been rearranged since this picture was taken. Nothing stationary has been changed out movable displays and cases have been moved.
