Description |
Black and white photograph of T. S. Doolittle's omnibus on the west side of Washington Avenue between today's 12th and 13th Street blocks. Doolittle operated the C. C. Livery and Feed Stable where fine horses and driving rigs could be rented. A man is holding a horse and delivery wagon in front of a Restaurant, Oyster & Game Depot. Next door to the left stands the wholesale liquor and cigar business of Schmidt & Reinhold. The Avenue Hotel is seen on the right with the balcony. |
