Description |
Mounted photographs on both sides of a green mat; mat has a corner cut out of it. One one side of the mat are mounted 4 photographs, including a man on a bicycle in the upper right, a person driving a single-tree buggy on a dirt road in the upper left, and a view of a ruined wall with a keyhole shaped doorway in it in the lower left. The fourth photo, a vew of a house, has the handwritten note "Gov. Steele's Home" written next to it. (See 2011. 099.829) On the other side of the mat are mounted three photographs. In the upper right is a vew of five people in a wagon taken from behind, along a dirt road. Beneath this photo is a typed label referring to this photo, and a photo mounted directly beneath it, reading "#3086c CHimney Gulch (2990) and Clay Mines (2991)." (See 2011.099.766) In the lower right corner is mounted a photo of the entrance to the clay mine referred to above, written above "Clay Mine." (See 2011.099.741) At center left is mounted a photograph with a view of a curving dirt road, and a hill to the right. |
