Description |
Black and white photograph of 9 basketball players, their coach and team manager. The team is wearing dark tank top jerseys with "Golden No-13" printed in white on them. At the base of the photo is "1941 Golden Oddfellows Basketball Team B Class A.A.U. Champs." On back is a stamp, "Mar - 1 1941" and "B. & B. Studio Pictures Golden, Colo." According to an article in the Colorado Transcript, the members represented Golden Lodge No. 13, I.O.O.F. The team members were: Bud Jaycox Harvey Gorman Homer Todd Vic Oppenlander Bill Jaycox John Hampton Donald Reeves Jim Riley Richard Grenfell Leroy Waters, manager F. A. Pomeroy, coach |
