Black and white photograph of a group of 6 women sitting around a table with a large chart spread in front of them. On the back of the photograph is handwritten, "Eleanor 'Tukky' McDermott on far right." Identified are Nellie Pattridge, 3rd from right; Lois Elaine Goad, 2nd from right; and Eleanor "Tukky" McDermott, far right. The Colorado Transcript dated Thursday, January 25, 1951, ran this photo with the following caption: "Here is a group of Golden clubwomen who are "going all out" in helping to promote the Golden Lions-sponsored "Mothers' March on Polio" to be held in Golden, and other parts of the county, on Feb. 1 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Left to right are Mrs. Clyde Hatchell, captain; and Mesdames Bob Ingalls, Arch Gothard, Paul Pattridge, Lloyd Goad, and Jack McDermott." |
