Description |
Black and white photograph of the Everett Building under construction, starting in 1872, on the left side of the photograph. Next door is the Loveland Building with a sign that reads "Goods, Clothing, & C.". A horse and wagon are in front of the Express Co. building on the left side. A wood boardwalk is on the right side with an unidentified man standing next to the Avenue, Crawford or Poe Hotel building. This building was also known as the Garbareno's City Restaurant, built in 1870. The second floor porch was added in 1871, note there is a bay window under this porch on the front of the building. Washington Avenue is a dirt street. |
