Black and white photograph of Richard Gardner standing next to the historic Office Saloon building at 906 Washington Avenue. Gardner is wearing a dark t-shirt and glasses and has light brown hair. In foreground behind him is the Office Saloon, converted to private residence, appearing as a 1 1/2-story frame structure with brick pattern beaverboard siding, with concrete porch landing leading to a single front door with screen door flanked by two double-hung windows, above the door being another window which is shutter type with 3 panes per window. Building is front gabled with shed addition with another double-hung window. Photo is from feature story on Gardner as a historian and preservationist. |
