Black and white photograph of the Tucker Gulch flood in 1948 showing the damage caused by the flood near the Coors Porcelain Company at Ford and 8th Streets. The Coors Porcelain Company sign on the side of the building is visible: "Coors U.S.A. Chemical & Scientific Porcelain". Railroad tracks, which were constructed over Tucker Gulch, are shown heavily damaged after the flood. Several people are seen standing along Ford Street and in the doorway of Coors Porcelain Company building. Mount Zion and the Colorado School of Mines "M" are located in the background. |
