Description |
Black and white aerial photograph of downtown Golden, Colorado. Washington Avenue, 12th Street, and 13th Street are focal points. Visible are Mitchell Elementary School, Baptist Church, Post Office, Hesteds Department Store. Montgomery Ward catalog store, Linder Block, and Colorado School of Mines campus. Image contains six yellow stickers with letters a-f. A legend in the lower right corner lists property parcels a-f, but does not give names. All parcels were owned by Cliff Evans in 1961. Part property research done by Evans. The back of the photograph contains the stamp of the photographer, "Roach Photomurals by Dennis S. Watts" from Denver, Colorado. Also stamped with the date June 17, 1961. |
