Color photograph of Jefferson County Colorado Undersheriff Denzil Boeka taken in the Assembly Room of the Sheriff's Department located at 1600 Arapahoe Street in Golden, Colorado. Boeka was appointed Undersheriff by Sheriff Harold E. Bray in 1972 and remained in that capacity until 1990 when he resigned to campaign for the office of Sheriff. He was defeated in the 1990 election by Ronald Beckham, a former Lakewood Police Agent. |
