Slide, black and white. View of the 83 Street Car in Golden. Peterson's Motor Co. and Sparks Motor Co. are in the background, along with North Table Mtn. Elsie Ryland made the following comments about this photo in 1991: "The picture of the 83 street car which ran from Golden to Denver, south of Coors. It is on Jackson St. turning to the depot at Washington & 13th St. next to the old Chocolate Shop. The 84 line ran south of South Table Mtn. to Denver. Many service men came to Golden by street car because of gas rationing." |
