Description |
Black and white photograph street view of residences in Golden looking toward the North. The photograph is mounted on tan cardstock with rounded corners. On back is handwritten in pencil, "Golden, looking North (about 1900) Taken from near the South School Grounds." In the upper left corner is a mailing label for the donor, H. E. McKinnies. In the lower left corner is a round "Golden Pioneer Museum" stamp with "200" written at the base of the logo. Black Diamond Coal Mine and North School are located in the distance. North Table Mountain is located in the background of the photograph on the right side. The Astor House is visible in the right mid ground along with Standley Hall. The street to the right of the image is Arapahoe St. Visible on right next to street is Calvary Episcopal Church. |
