Description |
8 oz. coffee mug created for the grand opening of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Complex in 1986. The Complex included the Jail and Administrative Offices of the Sheriff located on Jefferson County Parkway in Golden, Colorado. There were 250 mugs created for those who attended the grand opening of the facility. The words, "Jefferson County Sheriff's Complex Golden, Colorado" are inscribed on the mug. Below the words is the architectural depiction of the Complex. The colors on the mug are the two paint schemes used in the Jail and the Administrative Offices. This mug design was part of a commemorative set that included a replica Folger Adams Jail Key with the Sheriff's Complex design. The mug, key and name of the facility were created and designed by then Sheriff's Lieutenants Dennis L. Potter and Robert Deutsch. |
