The girls attended Colorado Agricultural College (now known as Colorado State University) in the late 1920s and 1930s. The dress is a knee-length drop waisted brown rayon dress, fully lined, with long sleeves, three tiers of ruffles at the skirt, tucks at waist, and an assymetrical shawl-like collar. The collar is edged in cream colored lace. The sleeves are fitted and have a snap closure at the end. The bottom ruffle at hem is lined with matching fabric for weight. |
