Brass plaque framing a paper document titled "The Golden Liberty Bell." The frame and back are brass with two holes present at top and bottom to secure plaque. The center thick glass covers a paper narrative that has been water damaged. The narrative lists four Golden soldiers who "made the supreme sacrifice": David Williams, Fred L. Lovely, Charles Vere Neeley, and Albert Shephard. The narrative goes on to list the contents of a sealed metal box (time capsule) which was placed in the cement base under the Bell, and requests the box be unsealed on Armistice Day 1968, fifty years hence.
