Dark wood shadow box with gold decoration on edge that holds a Masonic pin and printed correspondence regarding the burial of William F. Cody. Gold-colored Masonic pin on the left has the name George W. Parfet Jr. engraved across the top. Right side has burial rites statement to William F Cody, G. W. Parfet, Jr. W. M. is listed on the lower right corner of this document. |

According to Byron Walker, Golden City Lodge historian, this communication is called a due summons to appear. This summons was sent to all members of the Lodge. Framed with the summons is a past Master's pin. This pin was given to George W. Parfet when he stepped down from the role of Worshipful Master upon another member getting elected to the office. The "G" on the pin stands for God. |
