Joyce Mester Wamboldt's wedding veil, 1966. White net veil decorated with white plastic pearls at hem and along edges leading to headpiece. Veil is connected at top to a white plastic pearl beaded flower shape, which fronts a lace and wire tiara formed to fit over the crown of the head. At the back of the headpiece is a brown plastic hair comb that is sewn to the back edge of the headpiece, to help hold the veil in place. |
