Original hand-drawn ink sketch of Joseph Seminole and Sam Woodruff, drawn by WPA artist Leila Reece. Seminole was drawn in black ink and Woodruff was drawn with black ink with a light brown wash on hat brim and jacket. Below each portrait is the man's name, and in the lower left corner is written "Drawn by Leila Reece." Not dated, c. 1940. Sketch was drawn on tan cardstock and manually cut down to 4.25" x 5.5". |
