Description |
Cap: Kepi style dark blue wool with stiffened black visor and black leather band at base of brim in front. On interior is a brown leather sweat band. Hand stitching visible at top of brim, center seam; leather sweat and interior cloth lining is hand stitched. Worn during both Civil and Indian Wars. Officers model. Marked "J.S. Budd" on sweat band on right side. Believed to belong to Georgre West. |
