Unused real photo postcard with black and white image of the new Golden High School on the corner of 10th Street and Washington Avenue. The front main entrance faces 10th Street and the western foothills are visible in the background. Bottom of card is titled, "The High School, Golden, Colo." The lower right corner says, Sanborn p. 981. Back of card is stamped Golden Pioneer Museum. |

In 1956 the last senior class graduated from Golden High School. That same year a new high school was built further south on 23rd Street. The building on the corner of 10th Street and Washington Avenue became Golden Junior High School. |
