Also known as the Mechanic's Mining and Trading Company, founded town of Golden, CO in 1859. The company was originally organized in Boston, MA, by George West for real eastate development. On June 12, 1859, six members of the company arrived in Golden, CO, where they operated a general store and other businesses under the name Boston Company. Henry Bell purchased the building in 1869 and converted it into the Henry Bell Pottery. |
